We’re a self defense gym and martial arts studio dedicated to personal, approachable, and reality-based training.
At ATX Tactics, our primary concern is to make self defense personal and approachable, both in our training and in our methodology. We believe simple is safe, which is why we focus on fighting concepts over choreographed techniques to prepare people for common, realistic threats. We combine approaches from martial arts sources like boxing, jiu-jitsu, Krav Maga, Muay Thai, and MMA to repeat high-percentage tactics that can be performed under stress. Our instructors will work with you to help you feel empowered and safe — in a way that works for your body and your personal defense strategy.
